The Snow Show lasts about 30 minutes and is a snow experience the kids will not soon forget. Snow machines blast out authentic looking snowflakes, filling the square and giving the illusion of a blizzard. This "Snow" is guaranteed to fall every day that the event is open, even in our South Alabama climate!
Catch a horse-drawn carriage ride around the square for $5 per person.

Ice Skates are available in a variety of sizes ranging from a 9T to an adult 13. Skating tickets are sold First Come - First Served, and only a limited number are sold for each time slot each day. Make sure to stop by the ticket booth first and get your skating tickets. Please bring TALL SOCKS if you plan to skate. Skate rentals are $5.
The Polar Bear Tubing Hill boasts two 150 ft. lanes for racing snow tubes. Children will need to be able to drag the tube up a hill and be willing to ride alone. No double riding. Snow tubes are $1 per slide.
Visit with Santa on the steps of the Springdale Estate and pose for free take-your-own photos every Saturday and Sunday in December before Christmas.

Enjoy a trip around a festive trail and through a tunnel on a beautiful replica of a classic steam locomotive. Complete with an Engine, 4 wagons and an ADA accessible caboose, the train holds 25-30 passengers each trip - *one family per train car. Train rides are free.
Follow the journey of a lost polar bear cub through a large inflatable maze. Maze runs are free!

What should I wear? Although most of our attractions include the words snow and ice, you should really only dress according to the weather outside that day. If you plan to skate, please wear TALL SOCKS.
What does it cost? There are no admission charges to any Candyland venue. Skate rentals are $5/hr. Snow tubing rentals are $1/slide. Train rides, maze runs, cottage play and all snow shows and other events are completely free.
Where can I park? There a few larger parking lots around downtown and several street-side parking spaces. you can check our interactive map for parking ideas. Parking anywhere along E. Three Notch Street between the square and Springdale makes for an easy stroll between the two venues.
